For Argyll Community Award 2010: last update before voting ends with the bells

9.30 31st December 2010: This is a roller coaster of a vote and it looks as if its going all the way to the bells.

The long time leader from Day One was overtaken last night. The overtakers have kept on steaming and the hare has lost energy – now in a close fifth place (there’s little between the first five). But this hare still has legs and with all the surprises in this vote anything might happen between now and midnight (31st December 2010).

Last night’s two islands in first and second place  are still out there – but have changed position.

There’s a new third place – clearly on the move last night and not stiopping for breath all day. This contender could overtake one or both of the two front runners.

Fourth and fifth (the early leader) are within two votes  of each other; and sixth is one vote ahead of a two-way tie for seventh.

And those are all the clues and enticements you’re getting until we announce the winning group by 00.15 on Ne’er Day 2011
