There is no Norovirus outbreak at Oban HIgh School

This is information to quell spreading rumours and alarms that Oban HIgh School has suffered an outbreak of Norovirus, or winter vomiting.

The rumours may have arisen from the recent distribution of advice from Argyll and Bute Council on Norovirus, which actually related to the need for personal and domestic hygiene, focusing on the simple necessity of effective handwashing.

For Argyll has checked with Argyll and Bute Cuncil who have themselves checked out the situation and we can confirm that there is no Norovirus outbreak at Oban High School.
