Oban Lifeboat over to Craignure on Medevac

Oban lifeboat was called out last night to bring a 76-year old man suffering from pneumonia to Lorn & the Islands Hospital in Oban from the Island of Mull.

The patient brought to Craignure Ferry terminal by one ambulance and picked up by another waiting at the lifeboat slip in Oban for transfer to hospital.

The entire operation took the lifeboat one hour and forty minutes. It launched at 21.35 hours and was re-fuelled and ready for service again by 23.15 hours.
