Kingussie foil Inveraray treble in shinty’s 2010 Macauley Cup

Back on 23rd August 2008, Inveraray won shinty’s Macauley Cup – beating Newtonmore 3.0.

Then in 2009, Inveraray staged a fighting comeback from 3-0 down, taking the trophy with a final 4-3 win.

But today, 21st August 2010, with the treble in their sights, Inveraray faltered in extra time, seeing the 2-2 draw position converted into a 4-2 win for Kingussie by Ronald Ross, adding 2 more to his existing 2 goals.
