Never mind Eyjafjallajokull, what about Oban?

According to the British Geological Survey, an earthquake – or tremor – measuring 1.2 on the Richter scale, and with an epicentre 12km down, was felt 12km south of Oban last Thursday night (20th May 2010) just before midnight – at 11.53pm.

The National Grid references given for the tremor are: 186.0 km E, 717.4 km N.

No shaky excuses, please, for any cancellations of flights out of Oban Airport.
