Maersk Charity vote: fourth day’s voting

And remember the vote closes at midday BST today, 23rd April 2010.

Today was a real turnaround. The leader from the start, one of the two day one front runners, is still ahead – theoretically catchable but it will take a real sprint to do it.

The big story is that the other first day sprinter – the one that then seemed to sit down beside the track for days two and three – found second breath and came storming back to finish today in a tied second place with last night’s second – still making steady progress.

In fourth place is last night’s third, still hanging on in there, with fifth and sixth not far off a virtual tie and seventh close behind the lower of the two.

In eighth is the one who’s been the back marker from the off, spending the first day with a pal, sitting back on the blocks, starting off on say two but progressing very slowly. The question is whether there will be a sudden surge of power in the run to the tape tomorrow morning.

And he fat lady sings at noon.
