Campbeltown Loch Beach Clean

There is a community beach clean at Campbeltown Loch on Sunday 11th April 2010 – between 2.00pm and 4.00pm.

Those taking part – and the more the merrier – should meet at the Car Park at Aqualibrium.

Everyone is advised to wear stout footwear and clothes for changeable weather conditions.

Litter pickers, gloved and bags will be provided.

Beach cleans hit several targets in one action. They improve local amenities for residents and visitors alike. They also protect wildlife and their habitats form the grave risks litter creates. Discarded ‘ring pulls’ from drinks cans and plastic bags alone cause painful deaths to wildlife.
