An Afternoon with Oban & Lorn Tourism Association (OLTA) is the promise for Monday 29th March, at 3.30pm-5.00pm at Oban’s Caledonian Hotel.
The local tourism group is aiming to create a positive opportunity for those operating locally in Argyll’s tourism sector. The event is a marriage of a recruiting drive, drawing even more tourism business to get involved; a chance to network with colleagues in the industry; and an information session on what OLTA does and could do.
Linda Battison, Chair of Oban and Lorn Tourism Association, says: ‘The OLTA committee are delighted to offer our local industry this opportunity to come along to our open session to meet each other and to find out about us. We are a busy, voluntary association managing several destination marketing projects, all for the benefit of the local tourism industry. The event will be the perfect opportunity for us to engage further with businesses that are perhaps not familiar with OLTA or would like to learn more’.
The afternoon event will include a drinks reception, a short presentation from the association, Promoting Oban Together, industry networking opportunities, a Q&A with the OLTA panel and the chance to learn more about the OLTA and membership benefits.
The event is free and everyone interested in going along is advised to contact Pauline Foster, of Pure Shores, to register in advance. Contact her:
