Mid Argyll Pool supporters asked to attend public consultation on sports & leisure

PMR Leisure has been commissioned by Argyll and Bute Council  to undertake the drawing up of a ‘Sports Facilities Plan’.

This will set the council’s investment programme for the next five to ten years. Swimming pools and other sports facilities will be considered in the examination of current local provisions and what do people want?

PMR will be hosting a public community meeting at 7.30pm on Wednesday the 17th of March at the Lochgilphead School Joint Campus. (They also intend to host a sport clubs meeting at 7.30pm the night before – on Tuesday the 16th of March – at the same location.)

The public  meeting will focus on improvements in sport and leisure facilities

Supporters of the Mid Argyll Pool are asked to make a special effort to get to this meeting to ensure that the Mid Argyll Pool is recognised as a key amenity for sport, leisure and recreation in Mid Argyll.

Future funding and investment in the pool will depend on the outcome of this consultation.
