Who can tell the story of this Argyll Library van?

Here is a picture taken by a sharp-eyed Argyllach in Brighton last year. It shows a library van alleged to be from Mid Argyll and presumably disposed of as being not good enough for us.

Can anyone add pieces of the jigsaw? Are you a vehicle registration number collector? Was this your Library van? Where did it visit? Did you drive it? How often did you borrow books from it? What sort of books did you borrow from it?

Here may be an old friend now operating in foreign parts. Who can help us tell its story. How did it get to Brighton? How is it faring in those expensive and fashionable south coast climes?
