This offer is only for people who are genuinely interested in learning more about owning a 4-week fraction at Machrihanish Dunes. There are qualification criteria attached to the offer and people taking it up agree to attend a short sales presentation.

The development company explains: ‘Unlike timeshare, freehold fractional ownership gives you a valid heritable title that will be registered in the Land Register of Scotland. The title is freehold and is yours forever and can be sold or passed on to your family. Freeholds are being sold in 4-week fractions, which will be made up from a week in each season. Owners, friends and family will have full use of a cottage for those four weeks. Owners who do not wish to use their entire four weeks can lease some of their time through the management company to obtain a return on their cottage by accommodating visiting golfers.
