Cyclist in hospital after collision with car on A816 near Lochgilphead

A 41 year-old male cyclist has been taken to the Southern General Hospital in Glasgow  after being hit by a Vauxhall Corsa just after 9.00pm last night (14th February).He is in a stable condition and Strathclyde Police have appealed for witnesses to the incident.

It happened on the northbound A816, a mile north of Lochgilphead and, after striking the cyclist, the Corsa then went on to hit a southbound Ford Focus. Both drivers were male. Neither was injured.
