Take Time is an opportunity to learn more about the conservation area and the Rothesay THI.
The event will be held in Rothesay Pavilion on Wednesday 27th January from 11.00am to 3.30pm.
Lorna Pearce, the THI Project Officer, is encouraging people to go along to the event also to view the consultation documents on the plans for the regeneration of Roytehsay;s Town Centre and to learn more about how the THI is developing. There will be a display on this at the event.
And she wants people to take advantage of all the fun and interesting demonstrations and taster sessions which will be on offer. Stalls on the day will include health checks, nature watch, massage, reflexology and arts and crafts.
Councillor Len Scoullar, Chair of the Rothesay CHORD project Board, is also keen that as many people as possible give their views. He says: ‘These documents are vital to how the future development of Rothesay shapes up, so it’s very important that the voices of those people who will be most affected – its residents – are heard.
‘Rothesay’s historic town centre’s is one if its most important assets, and it is crucial that we map its future in a way which has the support of local homeowners and businesses.
‘I would encourage everyone to take an interest in consultation and, if possible, to drop in to the Take Time event on January 27th to learn more about the sort of issues which we need to consider over the next few months and years’.
