Seil Natural History Group – Field Trip

Seil Natural History Group is off on a Field Trip on Saturday 12th December – to the Toad of Lorn, the Dubh Loch and the Standing Stones.

Existing and would-be members meet at 9.30am outside the Tigh an Truish Inn on the Seil side of the Bridge Over the Atlantic. The trip will come back to the Inn for lunch.

Everyone is asked to wear suitable footwear and waterproof clothing as the weather can be unreliable at this time of year. Update: Richard Wesley has done a recce, the ground is very wet and he is recommending Wellingtons.

30 min Candlelit Vigil for Climate Change, Oban

Oban’s contribution to the worldwide Candlelit Vigil organised by avaaz.org and run locally by Sustainable Oban is on Saturday 12th December from 5.30pm – 6.00pm at the Clock Tower on Oban’s North Pier.

As many as possible are asked to come, briging thier own can dle and a camera to take photographs to record Oban’s participation.
