Oban Lifeboat in Medevac from Mull

The Oban Lifeboat, Mora Edith Macdonald, launched this evening at 1905 to transfer a female patient from the Isle Of Mull to hospital in Oban.

The Lifeboat reached Craignure Pier on Mull at 19.37 and, with the patient embarked, departed for Oban again at 19.47, arriving at 20.20.

The patient was taken by ambulance to Lorn & The Islands District General Hospital and the Lifeboat was re-fuelled and ready for service again at 20.35.
