Kilmartin Museum is hosting a Christmas Craft Fair on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th December between 11.00am and 4.30pm.
Craft Fair
On sale at this year will be:
- hand made soap
- linocut prints
- jewellery
- hand made cards and prints
- hats, scarves, cushions, textile hangings
- Barbreck Farm beef and lamb
- Murray smoked fish products – and more.
This is an enjoyable way to get your Christmas shopping done while supporting the Museum at the same time and with the indulgence of some mulled wine and mince pies in the Museum’s renowned cafe.
Christmas-related craft workshops
Alongside the Christmas Craft fair, Amy Neville will be running candle making and wreath making sessions on 5th and 6th December respectively. Each session will last for 2 hours and will cost £15 for adults and £12 for children. Children under 5 will not be able to participate and children aged between 5 and 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
These workshops will be run in the Education Room and will be for a maximum of 12 people each. The candle making is now fully booked but there are 7 spaces left for wreath making.
Carved Stones and Ancient Bones Exhibition – ends 21st December
This fascinating exhibition ends on 21st December and the magical bell and shrine will be returning to Edinburgh. The Museum will be open from 11.00m-4.00pm 7 days a week to give you the opportunity to see this exhibition before it ends.
Christmas celebrations at The Glebe
Christmas meals will be available in the Glebe Cairn Restaurant from 4th December. The menus are available to download from the Kilmartin Museum website or phone the Museum – 01546 510278 – for a copy. The Restaurant staff will be happy to discuss your requirements with you.
