… promises to make your Christmas a foodie one. A notably successful local business that has quickly become – literally, part of the staple diet of the town of Inveraray, the Eden Deli, has now passed its first birthday.
The business has also become a major outlet for Argyll’s specialist food producers, selling everyhting from the raw material like Aberdeen Angus beef from Ifferdale Farm in Saddell in Kintyre to the ready-to-go like the unforgettable Bumble’s Puds – a huge success at the two Connect Music Festivals. And of course, Barbara Burden, former cook to the 12th Duke of Argyll and, with Alison McKay, a partner in the business, prepares a set menu – and commissions – of take away meals daily.
