Yesterday’s (30th December) sailing from Oban to Colonsay failed to berth at Colonsay and had to return to Oban with its cargo of retuning family, friends and holidaymakers geared up to see in 2010 with a flourish.
Ferry operator, CalMac, is runningan additional sailing this afternoon in each direction to try to get every potential Hogmanay celebrant to wherever they need to go in time for the bells.
The MV Clansman will leave Oban for Colonsay today at 15.00 and return from Colonsay to Oban at approximately 17.30.
