The Zonk Challenge

Here’s a bright idea to help a charity of your choice, have fun and make the space around you a good place to be.

It’s described as a bargain.

Next time you leave the house, go to work/school/supermarket/pub/hairdresser, put a smile on your face and say ‘Good morning’ to someone you haven’t spoken to before.

  • For every 5 people you do this to, you award yourself a ZONK.
  • For every person who answers you, you award yourself  a ZONK.

When you accumulate 10 ZONKS, you give £1 to Cash for Kids, Yorkhill, Children in Need or any other charity of your choice.

You become a nicer person, you brighten someone’s day, you get to give to a good cause – and unlike any other charity we can think of, there are absolutely no administration costs.

There’s no need for an office, for stationery, for records, for staff, for postage stamps or a website.

You do it all yourself. How’s that for sustainable giving? No wonder it’s called a bargain.

Over to you. Get Zonking.
