The following Argyll-related FLOOD WATCH notices have been issued today (21st November) by the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA).
Note that Flood Watch notices are serious alerts but of lower urgency than Flood Warnings and Severe Flood Warnings.
A Flood Watch notice means that flooding is possible. It is issued in response to weather, tidal conditions or river levels. It indicates that flooding may occur in the next 24 to 48 hours.
SEPA advise that if you think your property is at risk of flooding, a Flood Watch notice will indicate that vigilance is required. This warning may also help people who keep livestock or animals, those who plan to travel, and those who have business premises in the area.

Congratulations to all those hardy souls who braved the horrehdous weather conditions at the weekend on behalf of the SNP Westminster candidate Mike Mackenzie.
It is that kind of can do atitude, regardles of who it is directed towards that will make this great Country of ours better than it already is.
I am surprised at Kintyre1′s bitterness towards the SNP. It was not so long ago that he himself would have been out there with them.
