In the past two weeks, Mid Argyll has seen a couple of political trains pass through – evidence that the General Election need to be in our minds.

First to arrive last weekend was Mike Mackenzie, the SNP candidate for the Argyll Bute Westminster seat, pictured below left, talking to a postal worker in Inveraray.

Then yesterday (13th November) Liberal Democrat MP, Alan Reid, the man in possession of the Argyll and Bute constituency, came through with stops in various villages and towns from Furnace (where he is pictured above right by Rebecca Martin) to Dalmally.

This is only the start of it.  The big challenge to voters is to stop, listen, think and question before you make your mind up.
