This is a case of ‘have the time of your life and help save lives’ as the Mid Argyll group that annually raises money for the RNLI and the Oban Lifeboat nosts the stunning Fiddlers’ Rally.

The time is 7.00pm for a 7.30pm start and the place is Lochgilphead High School.

The performers are the Oban & Lorn Strathspey and Reel Society and the word is that the music is out of this world – but thanks to your support, a good distance away from the next word for those in peril on the sea.

Ronnie MacKillop, Coxswain of the Oban Lifeboat, Mora Edith MacDonald, the busiest in Scotland, will talk to the audience after the interval tonight.

Maggie Donaldson, President of the fundraising group and the team are hoping for another cracking turnout and by the look of the weather, a night with music to lift the spirits as this does would be a great decision.

And the Oban LIfeboat crew would appreciate your support.
