Update: As of 22nd November 2009 at 21:27 pm SEPA has issued an All Clear flood notice for the Firth of Lorn coast from the Mull of Kintyre to Ardnamurchan Point. This states: ‘The tidal surge of today 22/11/09 has now decreased and there will be minimal impact on normal tide levels’.
The other SEPA Flood Watch notices, as below, still obtain as of 23rd November 00.12. Note that ‘Flood Watch’ is the lowest level of the notified warnings.
Argyll Rivers and Loch Lomond
As of 22nd November 2009 at 11:12 am, a FLOOD WATCH has been issued for Argyll rivers and Loch Lomond.
A period of further rainfall is forecast for this area today and given that river and loch levels remain high, combined with saturated catchments could lead to some localised flooding.
This FLOOD WATCH is now in force until further notice.
Firth of Clyde coast
As of 22nd November 2009 at 10:53 am, a FLOOD WATCH has been issued for Firth of Clyde Coastal Areas.
Given the high tides, strong winds and tidal surge within the Firth of Clyde, there is a risk of flooding. Low lying and exposed areas are particularly at risk around 2 to 5 pm on Sunday.
This FLOOD WATCH is now in force until further notice.

SEPA being the organisation which claimed to find the “daughter elements” of radium mixed into the rock of Dalgety Beach (they are so scientifically illiterate as not to know that the single such element is radon, as gas rather than a rock) if SEPA say the water is disappearing expect to see an ark heave into view.
