Kintyre’s Skykon aims to lead UK wind farm manufacturing

Denmark’s Skykon, the wind turbine manufacturer coming to Campbeltown in Kintyre, has an acquisition fund to use to build up its manufacturing portfolio in Scotland and also in the UK.

Niels Brix, Vice President of Skykon, has said that the energetic support the Scottish government showed in helping the company to establish production in Campbeltown, has said that Skykon is therefore looking first to Scotland – and principally to Scottish coastal areas – for potential additional manufacturing bases to develop its power base in the industry.
