With Cowalfest 2009 now over and proving more popular than ever, the Committee want to thank everyone who took part – those who visited the Alexander Reid exhibition, the tours of historic houses, those who walked with The Walking Theatre Company and those who took to the byways of Cowal on foot, bike and horseback.
As they put the event to bed, they need to gather summary information from the sharp end – you – on your experiences of it. What did you particularly enjoy and why? What was, for you, less successful? What would you personally like to see develop in the event and its programme?
Like any good organisation, Cowalfest is committed to growing organically, not simply repreating a formula – as its track record powerfully testifies. Its funding bodies also appreciate knowing how an event has been received.
You can be sure your insights will be valued and put to good use in the future of this significant part of Argyll’s uniquely varied and exciting events programme.
So – Cowalfest would appreciate it very much if you would give 5 minutes or so to fill in its customer feedback form.
Cowalfest is run by volunteers. But organising the festival, the minibus transport, the brochure, the website and the online booking system cost money. This is only partly covered by grants and the booking fee for all the walks and events contributes to closing that gap.
Many are already Members of Cowalfest and this is another way its many supporters can help it to survive and grow – by becoming a member of Cowalfest.
Members receive:
- a free guided seasonal walk – dates will be announced on the Cowalfest website
- prior notice of events and new developments
The minimum annual fee is £5.00 for individuals and £8.00 for a couple. Click here to register.
For the diary:
Cowalfest 2010 will run from 8th to 17th October. Planning has already begun. The team is looking forward to seeing you again – and with your friends. It’s already in the For Argyll Events Calendar.
