Cairns, cists and digs (almost) at Kimartin Museum Family Day

Saturday, 10th October, starting at 10.30am sees a day of experience and discovery for families, created by the team at Kilmartin House Museum.

It begins with a one and a half hour walk for all the family exploring the cairns and cists in Kilmartin Glen.

Then, in the afternoon, there will be three simulated digs for children. The first starts at 1.30pm, the second at 2.20pm and the third at 3.15pm.  The maximum number of participants on each dig is 8 – so booking is essential to ensure that children get the slot they want.  The minimum age for the dig is 6.

• The cost of the walk is £1.50 for adults, children free.
• The cost is of the dig is £1 per person.
