One for sailors: Yacht Sun Dog’s Argyll passage

We came across this great Sailing Blog, recording, among other things, the passage of the yacht Sun Dog from Loch Creran in the north of Argyll, south to Oban, past the Garvellachs and the Slate Islands, a trip through the Dorus Mhor, into Crinan and through the Crinan Canal to Ardrishaig and Loch Fyne.

As well as the descriptions, the photographs are worth seeing as a record of their own.

Argyll’s sailing grounds are among the best there are and this blog catches a sense of a beautiful passage, keeping the breeze in the memory until next season.
