Argyll’s Dalmally Primary School has taken first prize in the schools category of the British Wildlife Photography Awards.

Five of the pupils went to London for the award ceremony on Wednesday.

The photographs were taken last November around Dalmally, as part of a class with local photographer Philip Price.

Philip Price himself is an award winning wildlife photographer and entrepreneur whose Wildlife photography business – Loch Visions, is on Loch Awe. He obviously inspired the young Dalmally photograhes and wil be as dlegted as they are themselves at this remarkable national achievement.
