Cook like Momma doesn’t – at Campbeltown Museum’s Family Day

You may think you get prehistoric cooking served up to you too often as it is. But those who get to Campbeltown Museum on Saturday (3rd October) between 10.30am and 4.00pm will have the chance to do some prehistoric cooking themselves.

And there’ll be clay work, an art competition with prizes and a children’s discovery activity.

The Education Officers based at Kilmartin House Museum are responsible for events at Campbeltown and Auchindrain Museums. They are organising this Family Day at Campbeltown Museum on Saturday.

Campbeltown Museum has social history, fine art, natural history, geology and archaeology collections to see as well as the participatory special events mentioned above that will be there to do this Saturday.

Kate Moody and Julia Hamilton, the two Education Officers, will be holding a consultation session for teachers at 11.00am, showing what they can offer to local schools.

Aad by the way, the entire event is free.
