The Walking Theatre Company’s Hidden Jewel at Oban’s Dunollie Castle

The Hidden Jewel, a new play celebrating one of Scotland’s National Treasures ‘The Brooch of Lorne’ has drawn MacDougalls from all over the world.

The family, one of the signal Clans of the West Coast are raising the profile of their significant heritage site at Dunollie and The Walking Theatre Company’s Production will do exactly that, telling the story of the struggle for power between Robert De Bruc and John Comyn through to modern day with their own unique interactive brand of theatre.

The Walking Theatre Company presents The Hidden Jewel, tales of Clan MacDougall, at 7.30pm from 17th-23rd July. This event is part of Argyll’s programme for Homecoming Scotland 2009. Tickets are available from Dunollie.org and the Hope MacDougall Collection Museum, Oban
