In the couple of weeks since we reported on the laumch of her first novel, Auld Claes an Porridge, Argyll writer Mhairi Livingstone Ross has seen it sell strongly. In fact, on the Authors Online site, it’s second only to Michael Jackson books. No surprises there.
Mhairi’s book is a memoir of her Mother’s childhood, brought up on a croft in Moray. Launched in Waterstone’s in Oban, it sold fast from the start and has now logged over 270 copies.
As well as being available in bookshops, it can be bought online:
- at Authors Online - either as an ebook download (£3.95) or as a paperback (£9.99)
- at Amazon
