Cove man missing as canoe found in Loch Long

A man in his fifties from Cove in Rosneath in Argyll was reported missing late last night (Thursday 19th March) and is the subject of a continuing search. A canoe found on Loch Long not far from Cove has now been identified as belonging to the missing man.

Contributing to the land and water search are Clyde Coastguard with three search teams, police boats and military police from the Naval base at Faslane.
