Inveraray’s first Bluebell Festival runs from 1st-31st May with a programmen of cultural events in venues in the area, featuring theatre and storytelling, the Spirit of the West Festival – and a revival of a traditional run up the hill to the folly at Dun na Quaich above Inveraray Castle.
This event is part of Argyl’s programme for Homecoming Scotland 2009.

On Wednesday 18th March at 7.30 at Arrochar Fire Station, Arrochar, Tarbet and Ardlui Heritage is hosting a talk by Mary Haggarty on Newspaper Clippings on the area from 1880-2007.

The Hydro Connect Music Festival 2009 is on 4th, 5th and 6th September at Inveraray Castle.
DF Concerts have informed the Argyll Estates, which host the event, that the dates for this year’s Hydro Connect Music Festival are, at this time of publication, 4th, 5th and 6th September at Inveraray Castle.
