It is a great book for anyone with a sense of history. It spells out the build up of the arms race between England and Germany leading up to the 1914 war. Fisher had forecasted that England would go to war with Germany in 1914. The Germans were bent on equating their Army and Navy power to England back in that time. Two wars later they have failed against Britain and the United States. I hope that they have learned but I doubt it. Never again must the atrocities of the last war be repeated.
