A very good friend of mine who dived the wreck many years ago assured me that all whiskey bottles were contaminated and all had ingress of salt water through the cork !! I have myself been on this wreck or what is left of it and came across a bottle or two again to be full of mud and salt water, so all this clear expensive liquid is, I would say, a myth !!!!!
