Scottish Cyclocross Series – final two rounds – at Mull’s Glengorm Castle

Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th December 2008 see the last two rounds of this year’s Scottish Cyclocross Series ridden out in the Isle of Mull. The venue is Glengorm Castle and race times are:

• Saturday, 11.45am – Under 12s
• Saturday, 12.30pm – Youths
• Saturday, 1.30pm – Seniors / Veterans / Women / Junior

Sunday timings are earlier.

This stage of the event is particularly exciting ths year because the series is still wide open, with little separating the top four riders – who will all be in Mull. They are: Iain Nimmo (Squadra Porcini); Andy Wardman (VC Moulin); PaulMcINaly (Rock and Road Cycles); and James Fraser-Moodie (Pedal Power).

In the Womens’ Series, current leader is Anja McDonald (VC Moulin) with Eileen Roe (Swift Racing) lying second. Leading women bikers are also coming up from down south so anything might happen.

NOTE: Anyone can enter the series. All you need is a mountain bike and a helmet.
