At 3.30pm on 6th September 2009 Jamie Laval is in concert at Lochgoilhead Village Hall. A perennial favourite with Cowal audiences, Jamie was the U.S. 2002 Scottish Fiddle Champion.

He has played and taught at Edinburgh Fiddle Festival, Alistair Fraser Fiddle School in California (Valley of the Moon).

His CD was described as ‘more than impressive.. it stops you dead in your tracks and demands that you listen.. subtle and energetic’ (Sing Out Folk Magazine).

His  Edinburgh performance was praised: ‘a fiddler of sublety, complexity and passionate intensity, an engaging performer who will create a rapt audience wherever he goes.’(Fiddle On)
