At 3.00pm on 19th April 2009, Lochgoilhead Fiddle Workshop is hosting a traditional music concert with the Donald Black Trio, at Srachur Memorial Hall.
Harmonica player par excellence, Donald played to a sell out audience at Cowalfest. concerts. The Scotsman says: ‘ One of the most neglected instruments in the folk music world is the moothie. That’s put to right by Donald Black. He offers a robust and enchanting selection of marches, reels and airs, all carrying a powerful whiff of bagpipe phraseology’.
Donald returns to Cowal with Donnie MacKenzie on Accoustic Guitar and Douglas Miller on Keyboards.
There are more details on Cowal/Argyll music and other events on the Lochgoilhead Fiddle Workshop website.
