At 3.00pm on 22nd March, Lochgoilhead Fiddle Workshop is hosting a traditional music concert with Brian O;Headhra, Bruce MacGregor and Sandy Brechin at Lochgoilhead Village Hall.
Brian Ó hEadhra is from Dublin. He sings traditional and newly composed Irish and Scottish Gaelic songs as well as being a prolific singer and songwriter in English. Playing with him is Blazin Fiddles founder Bruce MacGregor and Sandy Brechin on accordion.
These are three of Scotland’s finest musicians on tour. Seasoned artistes, they draw on a wealth of tunes and songs from the Gaelic and Scots traditions, as well as each being acclaimed composers in their own right. However the music is only half the craic during their shows, with the tunes mixed freely with tall tales and stories from their experiences touring over the last decade.
There are more details on Cowal/Argyll music and other events on the Lochgoilhead Fiddle Workshop website.
