Rare Messiaen piece for Ardrishaig concert

A piece of unpublished music, Fantasie, written in 1933 by composer Oliver Messiaen was discovered by Alastair Mitchell when he was teaching in Palestine. There were previously thought to be only two pieces written by Messiaen for violin and piano. Alastair Mitchell and David Finlay will play the piece in their chamber music programme performed on Saturday 19th October in Ardrishaig Hall at 7.30pm. The performance is arranged by Mid Argyll Arts Association.
