Islay’s Ben Wilson takes Skeet bronze in India at Youth Commonwealth Games

Ben Wilson from Islay has taken the Bronze medal in the Skeet shooting final last Friday at the 2008 Youth Commonwealth Games in Pune in India. The Skeet was a particularly close final with little separating the six finalists. It was Ben’s ability to stay consistently accurate throughout a day’s shooting that kept him in the medals. Next in Ben’s sights is the Delhi 2010 Commonwealth Games followed by the London 2012 Olympic Games and the Glasgow Commonwealth Games to come in 2014.
