Burst water main in Tobermory – update from Scottish Water

Tobermory on the Isle of Mull has had a burst water main disrupt its water supply. Scottish Water engineers are currently on the job and are working as fast as possible to loate and repair the burst.

The interruption to the water supply has resulted from a burst on a 6in main that is proving difficult to locate. While the detective work and the repair goes on, arrangements are being made to provide alternative water supplies to affected customers in the area.

Scottish Water will provide further updates, which will include locations where the alternative water supplies will be provided. We will add this information as updates to this news item as soon as we are informed.
