The owners of the new hotel in Islay who had planned to call it ‘The Jungle’ have retreated in the wake of the feelings of rival ‘Old Firm’ football fans about the name. (See our previous article on the matter.) They have announced that the hotel will not now be called The Jungle and an alternative name will be divulged in due course. Watch this space.
