A man died yesterday morning in an industrial accident at the big new hydro-electricity dam at Glendoe above Fort Augustus. This is thought to be the first death in the construction at Glendoe, the biggest hydro electric scheme to be built in Scotland in 50 years. A spokesperson for Scottish and Southern Energy confirmed that there is an ongoing investigation into the incident. It is thought to have happened around 8.00am and to have involved a forklift truck but details have not yet been released.
