The Drum Major  who won the Mace Over the Bar competition at Argyll’s Cowal Gathering – and the gallon of whisky that went with it was… Brian Wilson, of Lomond and Clyde Pipe Band. The Most Entertaining Band was George Watson College’s Novice Juvenile Pipe Band. No whisky there, then.
