Today’s Loch Fyne Cruise by The Waverley in and out of Tarbert may have been its last visit to the Kintyre port. The condition of the pier at Tarbert is such that future visits cannot be undertaken safely. The Waverley has long been a familiar feature of the Clyde waterway system but unless the pier at Tarbert can be restored, it may not visit this area of Argyll again.
