Energy Minister Jim Mather is to hold a meeting with Vestas’s President and Vice President of Government Relations on the company’s plan to close its wind turbine plant at Campbeltown in Kintyre. The meeting is to be in Glasgow and we now understand that it will take place this Thursday, 28th August. We hope to have some news on it shortly afterwards.
