Argyll’s 2008 Mull of Kintyre Music Festival

Argyll sees this year’s Mull of Kintyre Music Festival - at Campbeltown from 21st to 24th August - with a lively and varied programme headlining The Justin Currie Band (Justin fronted Del Amitri in the ’80s) and Capercaillie. Also featuring are Skippinish, BOdega, Attic Lights, Jarlath Henderso and Innes Watson, Rod Paterson, Archie McAllister and Ross Kennedy, Gillian Frame and Friends, Lorne MacDougall, Dalriada Connections Band, Arthur Johnstone, Jump Jive Boogie Band, the Criterion New Orleans Brass Band, The Twisted Melons.
The programme also has a Young Folk Night, a Dalriada Connections Concert, Ceilidhs, a Grand Parade, open air concerts in th afternoons, music workshops, heritage and cultural walks and talks and a Festival Club. And there’s a ‘new, improved campsite’.
