The Ecocruz - a wildlife boat trip for children - is one of the innovations at this year’s Wild Isles Week. The popularity of this six year-old annual event has been seen by over one hundred and sixty people pre-booking for it. Its purpose is to draw people to Mull and Iona through the opportunity to see golden eagles, hen harriers, puffins, minke whales, dolphins, porpoises, seals and otters - all from a single base. Susie Chalupa, event co-ordinator, points out: ‘ There is something for everyone from the keenest birdwatcher to the occasional rambler’.
