Rothesay Joint Campus has just seen the premiere of an anti-bullying film made by P7 and S1 pupils - who wrote, directed and performed in it. David Hayman, star of TV’s Trial and Retribution, described the young film makers’ work as:’touching, powerful and emotive’. The project was largely funded by the volunteer-based charitable organisation, Spirit Aid, who also provided assistance and advice through its ‘Shooters Young People’s Film Project. Bullying is something that blights too many young lives. The young Rothesay group’s exploration of it in their play is a creative contribution to the necessary dialogue.
